November Empties + Favorites '21

*I am not sponsored by an of the following brands*

Empties:

These are the products that I used up in November. Did I like them? Would I rebuy them? Since I've used these products long-term I feel confident that I can give a complete review.

UNITE 7Seconds Detangler:

Price: $11

This product was featured in my October Favorites and it is back again as an empty! Never fear, this detangler comes with plenty of product, I just have tons of hair and got the mini size. To be completely honest, my hair has some damage and has become quite dry this winter, but this detangler not only takes out my knots, but also makes my hair shiny and hydrated. Shout out to my hairstylist for recommending this to me!

Would I Rebuy? - Yes! I can't wait to get some more in soon, and having been without it for just a week, I already miss it.

Worth It? - Totally. If you struggle with damage, dryness, tangles, and this product suits your hair type then I would recommend that you give it a try!

Koh Gen Do Pure Cotton Pads:

Price: $19 for 60

When I run out of makeup wipes, these super soft 100% cotton pads are my go to. Paired with the Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water, these pads easily take off my makeup and even tackle my waterproof mascara! I especially love that thee box is made out of cardboard and contains no plastic so it can easily be recycled. They are also super thick and luxurious so you don't have to worry about skin irritation.

Would I Rebuy - No. I loved these pads while they lasted but I am currently committed to the makeup wipe life. However, if you use cotton pads to remove your makeup they could be worth a try.

Worth It? - I think so. At $19 you get 60 pads so you pay less than $0.32 for each cotton pad. However, a washcloth with micellar water could probably do the same job.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Moisturizer:

Price: $23.99

Style: For Extra-Dry Skin

This moisturizer is also back again from my October Empties list, but only because I am so dependent on it. Since I use harsh acid-based products to treat blemishes, the surrounding skin can become very dry. This problem is only exacerbated by the dry winter air, so I lean on this moisturizer to keep my skin soft and hydrated. The water-based gel formula is perfect for all my oily friends out there! It never leaves me greasy, only dewy and refreshed.

Would I Rebuy? - Of course! This product has become a staple in my skincare routine and I can't wait to get more. In the meantime, I'll be trying more skincare products to review for you all!

Worth It? - Absolutely. I can't gush enough about how much I love this stuff!

Favorites:

My monthly favorites include all the products I have especially loved this month! I might not have used them all up, but my first impressions were so good that I had to share!

Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb:

Price: $39

Style: How Many Carats?

While doing some holiday shopping at Sephora, the snow-white sparkle of this product came jumping out at me and I just knew that I needed it! First of all, the packaging is stunning but even more important, the product truly makes me shine like a diamond! I wore this during my 18th birthday party and got tons of compliments on it too! I chose the color described as, "Pure Platinum Sparkle," but there are 3 other shades to match your complexion.

Would I rebuy? - Likely. I hope to never run out of this and use it sparingly, but in the event that I do I bet there will be more similar products on the market. I do believe though that at face value, the diamond bomb is worth a rebuy.

Worth It? - YES! Even though you have to drop $39 for this, i promise it is worth it! I felt like my skin was crystalline and it shone like fresh snow on a sunny day... so yes, go get yourself some!

Patrick Ta Body Brush:

Price: $35

Style: For Body

After I purchased the Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb I went to get the corresponding Face & Body Kabuki Brush but it was sold out. So, I went on the hunt for an alternative and found it in this body brush! The brush can be used with all kinds of makeup, has dense synthetic bristles, and is cruelty-free! The flat-top head makes it easy do coat your body quickly and the dense fibers hold powder product so I only need to use one coat. Love this little guy!

Would I Rebuy? - I hope I won't have to. Brushes like this don't typically need to be replaced if properly cleaned and cared for, but I will certainly keep it for a very long time.

Worth It? - Maybe. The brush is on the more expensive side at $35 and there are certainly cheaper kabuki's out there, but if you are willing to drop the money, you won't be disappointed.

Clé De Peau Beauté Cotton Pads:

Price: $25 for 120

I got 2 mini packets of cotton pads as freebies as apart of a larger order and I was surprised by how soft and thick these are! They are even a tad bit softer than the Koh Gen Do cotton pads. I still use them with the Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water and they do their job to remove even my waterproof makeup.

Would I Rebuy? - No. Like I've mentioned, I'm a makeup wipe girl so cotton pads aren't something I typically shop for but if these interest you I would give them a try.

Worth it? - Yes! These pads very soft and thick, and coming in at $25 for 120 pads, you are paying less than $0.21. That mean that these are actually cheaper than the Koh Gen Do pads.

Essie Gel Couture:

Price: $11.50

Style: First View

This has become my all time favorite winter nail color! The polish has a slight shimmer which I think gives it an icy, winter wonderland, kind of feeling! I am a huge Essie fan, especially after they transitioned all polish brush bristles to the rounded shape which makes application super easy. This polish requires no base coat and I topped it with the corresponding Gel Couture Top Coat to achieve the gel nail look with out the time or money spent in the salon.

Would I Rebuy? - I guess. I've honestly never run out of nail polish shade before but I think it is quite a beautiful color.

Worth it? - At $11.50 it is expensive for a nail polish, especially when you consider the price of the corresponding top coat too, but it works super well and is much cheaper than a trip to the salon.
